HMT listed on FTX

2 min read

The HUMAN Protocol Foundation is delighted to announce that HMT is now listed on FTX. We hope this offers our community another layer of involvement in the HUMAN project, with the option now to buy, sell, and trade HMT on this exchange.

About HMT

HMT broke the CoinList record for the number of participants in an ICO, adding 63,000 new stakeholders to the HUMAN project. HMT is the native cryptocurrency of HUMAN Protocol. In practice, this means that Requesters who want data to be labeled must first purchase HMT, with which they pre-fund a smart bounty. On the other end of the system, Workers who complete the labeling are rewarded in HMT.

But HMT’s utility doesn’t end there. The ML software responsible for data sanitation must stake HMT, and will earn HMT if their sanitation - and corresponding vote - is correct; furthermore, the network of oracles designed to ensure the quality of work will earn HMT for completing their job.

About FTX

FTX is a cryptocurrency exchange founded by a team who previously worked at Google, Facebook, and Jane Street Capital. It was created to offer users access to a range of innovative products, such as industry-first derivatives, options, volatility products and leveraged tokens.

In the last 24hr, FTX has facilitated over $2.3 billion of trading; it is an undeniably robust system, designed to deal with the volume of professional trading firms, but with a user experience easy enough to help first-time users. Users of FTX can benefit from a wide range of supported fiat currencies, including USD, GBR, EUR, CHF, HKD, and many more.
