HUMAN community newsletter (#12)
It has been an incredibly busy period since our last newsletter. With three grants, a community-led bridge initiative, progress on a new open-source app, the Probit exchange listing, and the release of the new Routing Protocol, there is plenty to cover!
Ramblist – a platform leveraging AI to dispel fake news and create a decentralized news solution. They will be using the grant to pay Workers at scale. Read more about the grant.
Blockchain HELIX – has created helix id, a solution to creating digital identities for consumers and companies. This can help create a secure digital society to power a secure digital economy, such as we are building out at HUMAN Protocol. The grant will be used to build a proof of concept app, where Workers can: verify themselves, manage their personal data, manage and send earned tokens (HMT). Learn more about the grant
Audino – a audio annotation tool being used to create a translation service to help with health services in India. They will be integrating with the HUMAN Routing Protocol to access Workers who can complete the tasks. This is the first HUMAN impact project, and can improve the health services available to millions of people in rural India. Read more about the grant
Together, these grants can massively increase the adoption and use of HUMAN Protocol.
The future of HUMAN Protocol, the Routing Protocol is an additional layer that facilitates the decentralization and adoption of the network. It creates a blueprint to coordinate the various agents who operate the network – and to reward those who successfully contribute to its functioning. See the tokenomics to learn more, or else read our articles introducing the RP, and the staking enabled by the RP.
From now on, we will release a tech-specific newsletter. The first of these will be released later this month. Here is an overview of updates since the last newsletter.
We are going to attend ETH Berlin, as well as Token 2049, and Smartcon this month. We will organize our first HUMAN meetup in Germany the 14th of September and are planning monthly meet-ups in Paris and London as well.
We look forward to meeting you in person!
