Grant awarded to EkoLance
The grants committee has announced a new grant for EkoLance. The grant will help the EkoLance team to bring the tasks they distribute as part of a recruitment and training process for Web3 onto HUMAN Protocol.
“Currently EkoLance facilitates hundreds of job requests per week. Bringing them on HUMAN Protocol will make them automated and their validation faster and more secure both for the companies as well as for the workers. This is the future of work distribution and we are happy to be at the front of this innovation.” — Maria Eneva-Olms, CEO at EkoLance
EkoLance helps companies in Web3 with the training and recruitment of professionals. It operates in career paths such as Solidity development, content creation, and community management. The companies give assignments to the professionals as part of the training; currently, the company then has to assess the work manually, and report the results to EkoLance. The best performing workers then receive rewards in the form of stablecoins or the company’s native token.
The grant will fund the work required to run the job/task distribution, the verification and reward process on HUMAN Protocol.
We are delighted to add another unique use case to the Protocol. This is another great example of how flexible the technology is, and how the Protocol can be used to reduce the manual processes of job distribution, evaluation, and payment. Now, all the information will be on one ledger, and both the companies requesting the work and the workers fulfilling the assignments will have a single point of entry.
This integration will onboard hundreds of Workers to HUMAN Protocol — EkoLance has over 200 participants per cohort and over the past 6 months EkoLance has accumulated over 1500 workers. EkoLance wants to onboard a further 3,000 workers by end of 2022 and 30,000 workers by end of 2023.
It will also open exposure to a range of Web3 job providers — each cohort, which starts every six weeks, will have ideally 3 corporate partners. Altogether, this showcases a useful, mutually beneficial collaboration that can help to automate and ease the manual processes of work.
