Community Announcement: Task limits

2 min read

Dear HUMAN supporters, HUMAN’s core team has heard your concerns about recent task limits. These adjustments, while significant, are an important part of the Protocol's growth and are being implemented in the interests of the community as a whole.

A meteoric growth, a strong community

HUMAN continues to expand at an impressive pace thanks to a highly engaged community of developers, workers and enthusiasts. This unwavering support propels HUMAN Protocol forward, pushing boundaries and setting new records of completed tasks each month.

From a few hundred thousand tasks to billions, this lightning progress, far surpassing expectations, is a testament to the strength and potential of HUMAN’s community.

Even though the HUMAN App is still in beta, these figures stand strong next to any competitors in the field of AI, data annotation and Web3 protocols.

HUMAN and…fair

The HUMAN community flourishes worldwide, supported by strategic partnerships (i.e. MultiversX), new chain implementations (i.e SKALE) or new task types (i.e CVAT) that attract thousands of new members from different time zones.

However, recently, community members have been unable to access tasks due to differences in time zones. Equal chance of access to tasks for all users being a key element in the growth of the protocol, the core team implemented the following changes:

  • 500 tasks per day per wallet.
  • Back to a single task pool that opens at 00:00 UTC every day.

Starting from now, further changes on task distribution will be shared with the community at least 48 hours before being implemented.
