Announcing the listing of HMT on Bitfinex
The HUMAN Protocol Foundation is delighted to announce that HMT is being listed on Bitfinex. Bitfinex will join other exchanges FTX and Gate.io in offering our community the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade HMT.
Deposits for HMT on Bitfinex open at 09:00 UTC on September 20th, and trading opens the following day, on the 21st, at 09:00 UTC.
HMT broke the CoinList record for the number of participants in an ICO, adding 63,000 new stakeholders to the HUMAN community. HMT is the native cryptocurrency of HUMAN Protocol. In practice, Requesters – who want to launch a job – must first purchase HMT, with which they pre-fund a smart bounty. On the other end of the system, Workers who complete the work are rewarded in HMT.
But HMT’s utility doesn’t end there. The ML software responsible for data sanitation must stake HMT, and will earn HMT if their sanitation - and corresponding vote - is correct; furthermore, the network of oracles, designed to ensure the quality of work, will receive HMT for correctly fulfilling that function.
Bitfinex is one of the crypto world’s legacy exchanges. It consistently performs as one of the highest ranked exchanges, taking into account trading volume, liquidity, website visits, and compatible fiat currencies (USD, EUR, etc.) It offers users state-of-the-art trading tools, and high-quality customer service.
Bitfinex is the home of Tether (USDt): a stablecoin that allows users to convert their fiat into a coin designed to match the price of the US dollar. Along with USDc (also available on Bitfinex), USDt is designed to provide users with a stable trading currency pegged to real-world assets.
