HUMAN App update: KYC and wallet withdrawal

2 min read

Last month, we released the HUMAN App as a proof of concept: a showcase of what HUMAN Protocol could do, and work that can be accessed through integrated applications. Read our announcement piece for more information, or visit the HUMAN App page.

Since then, we’ve been working on building out the beta’s functionality, and implementing KYC. As part of our goal to ensure the App’s sustainability, we’ve also built a batch-payout feature to mitigate the impact of high gas prices on the Ethereum network.

We’re now pleased to announce that KYC for the HUMAN App – and the withdraw-to-wallet feature – will be available at 9 am PST on October 10.

Ultimately, we want the final experience to be the best experience. The HUMAN App has gone through – and will continue to go through – different iterations, as we explore multiple directions and possibilities. Our intention is to find the most convenient way for users to withdraw their HMT without hassle, and ensure there is no friction between the work being done and the work being compensated.

In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be adding new data-labeling tasks, and further developing the App’s features and functionality in the lead up to a post-beta release.

We are also exploring the possibility of making the app open source, to improve utility and help our partners use it to build their own products.
