HUMAN community newsletter (#9)
The most important update is the announcement of the new jobs that have been added to the HUMAN App! Also, we have released the HUMAN roadmap for the community to see what we have done, and what we have planned for the rest of the year! We are also delighted to announce that, after listing the ERC-20 contract for HMT, Bitfinex has now listed HMT on Polygon.
The dev team is working hard on supporting our first Exchange – hCaptcha – in the HUMAN App. We’ve deployed new OCR jobs to the Data Labeling page, so you can try it yourself right now! We are working together with the community on adding new chains – Moonbeam and Avalanche – to the hmt-escrow and Fortune projects. Our first piece since the last newsletter was a response to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, with an emphasis on the need for distributed work and payment solutions, highlighted by the conflict.
Excitingly, we announced the foundations we are laying in DeFi, which was followed by a description of how HUMAN tech could operate as a DeFi oracle.
We released an article on the new tasks added to the HUMAN App. And then, leveraging the experience we have had over the past year, we gave the community some advice on dealing with exchange listing impersonation scams. Finally, our last post was about our new hackathon strategy; and how we plan to build a pool of community developers to help third parties looking to build on HUMAN.
In the press, we have seen many different angles explored as use cases of the HUMAN App.
To add to our existing two grants, two more grants have been awarded, and we are recording podcasts, writing articles and preparing more information in general about our grantees. We’ll release this material over the next few weeks.
We reinvigorated our Gitcoin efforts, launching multiple Gitcoin bounties to integrate new EVMs/networks, and onboard maintainers for old integrations.
We attended Paris Blockchain Week as well as ETH Amsterdam/Devconnect, and made dozens of new connections who we are actively working with to convert into partners and clients. At these events, it was also great to connect with some of our closest partners. We look forward to keeping you up to date with progress over the coming newsletters.

The Ambassador Program has produced some great emissaries of the project, who continue to contribute to the HUMAN voice.
